Beyond guide book :) The Marsangdyi River valley becomes incredibly steep at some points in the Annapurna trek. At least it did in 2001. I’ve heard there is a road going all the way up to Chame now and I’m curious as to how it’s changed the region. This photo was taken near Jagat. When we hiked the Annapurna Circuit the monsoon was just letting up, but we still had plenty of rain soaked days„, oh and with leeches too!
